The Centre for Hadhrami and Diaspora Studies, in collaboration with the CH Muhammed Koya Chair for Studies on Developing Societies, University of Calicut, is organizing an invited talk by Dr. Waseem Naser on "Bayt and Wilaya among Ba ʿAlawi Sayyids in Indonesia." The lecture explores the historical, religious, and social significance of Bayt and Wilaya within the Ba ʿAlawi tradition and their role in shaping Hadhrami communities in Indonesia.
