International Seminar on Hadhrami Diaspora & Maritime Trade
EMS Seminar Complex, University of Calicut
A three-day international academic seminar organized by the CH Mohammed Koya Chair at Calicut University. Scholars from across the Indian Ocean (Yemen, Singapore, Indonesia) will present research on the Sayyid family networks, Arabimalayalam literature, and historical trade routes linking Hadramaut to the Malabar coast.
